Guidance Requested, Please!

I have a favor to ask of you.

1) Please read Common Core Diva’s post from today about what education and labor are going to become (from birth to death or for the people from preschool to elderly).

2) Please read my comment on her post.

3) Please tell me what to do as a homeschool mom. I am lost and do not know what to do.

This is the wall I feel is being built to enhance control at the expense of liberty.

  1. Lisa, I don’t know if any of this will help you but as another homeschooling mom who also follows what is going on in education today, I hear you. I have three adult children who all took the ACT tests in order to get into their universities- one at BYU, another at BYU-Idaho, and another at USU. My daughter at USU is now in her last semester for her degree in a very liberal field (English with an emphasis in technical writing, something like that). She has been bombarded with indoctrination throughout her university experience by her professors and assignments and tests, but she has been able to discern truth from error because she was taught at home to think for herself and use the gospel as her guide. And that is something you are doing for your children- equipping them with light and truth.
